In 1923 Washington, DC welcomed a new luxury residential building: The Jefferson Apartment, an 8 story Beaux Arts building located at 16th & M Streets, four blocks north of the White House. In 1955, it was converted into a hotel and quickly became Washington’s most discerning hotel. After a 30-month restoration the hotel re-emerged in August 2009 as Washington’s finest hotel.

Three intimate meeting rooms include a remarkable Board Room, a private dining room and three cabinet rooms await guests seeking privacy, service and elegant accommodations. The Gallatin can be divided for meetings or accommodate 44 for dinning or 100 reception style. Both the Gallatin and Parlor Board room offer windows providing natural light and open for fresh air.
